Tine Topsøe (*1982) is a trained musical theatre director from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. She completed her education in 2011 with “The Rape of Lucretia” in collaboration with the Staatsoper Hamburg.
Since her education, she has directed several operas and other musical theatre performances both in Denmark and abroad. Including seven premieres and most recently “Maja and the Magic Sofa” at the Opera in the Center.

In addition, Tine has directed, among others “Stand still while I fall” at the Hamlet scene in collaboration with Copenhagen Chamber Performance, “No Exit” at the Funen Opera, “The Ugly Duckling” at the Royal Danish Theatre, “Acis and Galatea” at the Ulriksdal Slotsteater Confidencen in Stockholm in collaboration with SVT2, “Orfeo ed Euridice” for the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera, “Martyriet” at the Royal Danish Theatre, “I Pagliacci”, “La Traviata”, “Hans og Grete” and “Apollo e Dafne” at the Copenhagen Opera Festival and “Madama Butterfly” at the Opera in Kristiansund and “Cosi fan tutte” and “Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor” at Die Kleine Oper am See.

Tine has studied Theatre Studies at the University of Copenhagen and in 2019 received a working grant from the Danish Arts Foundation.
