Curriculum Vitae

 

Tine Topsøe was educated at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater i Hamborg. In February 2011 she completed her opera director  studies with Britten’s ”The Rape of Lucretia” which was produced in cooperation with the Hamburg State Opera.

Since her graduation Tine has directed several operas, operettas and Singspiele both in Denmark and abroad, including “The Ugly Duckling” at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, “Acis and Galatea” at Confidencen in Stockholm, which was broadcast on SVT, “Orfeo ed Euridoce” for Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera,  “The Martyrdom” at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen, Takkelloftet, “I Pagliacci” and  “La Traviata” for the Copenhagen Opera Festival, “Madame Butterfly” at the Opera in Kristiansund and “Cosí fan tutte” at Kleine Oper am See.

The following productions have been postponed due to COVID-19, “The Merchant of Death” at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen, Takkelloftet, “Der Schauspieldirektor” at the Theater und Orchester Neubrandenburg/Neustrelitz and “Cinderello and the princess knight” for Musikteatret SAUM.

In 2019 Tine received a work grant for performing arts from the Danish Arts Foundation.
